Leveraging its advanced multi-downcomer tray technology and drawing on more than 20 years of successful application in PDH units, Changsha Boneng achieved significant technical optimization in this project: whereas comparable solutions in the industry typically require a tower diameter of 10 meters, its proprietary technology reduced the diameter to 9.2 meters and shortened the tower height by 18 meters, resulting in direct investment savings exceeding RMB 30 million. After two months of intensive design reviews, end-to-end process simulation, and high-precision hydraulic verification, followed by multiple rounds of international expert assessments, the company—backed by its solid technological foundation, innovative design approach, and precision manufacturing capabilities—emerged victorious in this international project bid. The project has now been delivered and commissioned to high quality, marking a major leap for China’s tower internals technology from following to keeping pace, and providing robust technical support for the entry of China’s high-end equipment into the global market.
