The gas fractionation unit primarily comprises a depropanizer, a deethanizer, and a propylene rectification column, all of which are mainly tray-type columns. The principal internal components include tray assemblies (floating valves, tray decks, downcomers, receiving trays, liquid seals, and associated support beams), oil collection drums, vapor–liquid feed distributors and distribution pipes, as well as fasteners such as bolts, nuts, clamps, and washers.

● Main tower tray assemblies

(1) Single- and Double-Overflow Tray – Single-Overflow Tray/Double-Overflow Tray

(2) Corrugated Guide Floating Valve

The corrugated-guided floating valve comprises herringbone-shaped corrugated valve discs and valve legs integrally formed with and extending from both ends of the discs. The discs are provided with edge flanges on both sides in the width direction, such that the disc width exceeds the leg width. The inclined surfaces of the herringbone corrugations are equipped with 0 to 35 guide holes, while the sides of the valve legs feature folded edges and the distal ends of the legs are fitted with valve feet. Under identical operating conditions, the corrugated-guided floating valve tray enables uniform gas–liquid contact, reduces the liquid-level gradient across the tray, and enhances mass-transfer performance, making it suitable for vapor–liquid mass-transfer separation columns such as absorption towers and distillation columns.
