Following the company’s resumption of work on February 10, 2020, government authorities at all levels in Changsha County have paid close attention to Boneng’s progress in resuming operations and production, as well as to the implementation of epidemic prevention and control measures.
Secretary Ai Ying of the Changsha County Federation of Industry and Commerce led a team to station at our company, conducting on-site inspections of our production workshops and offices to provide technical support for workplace safety. Based on our specific circumstances, they developed and guided the implementation of epidemic prevention and control measures as well as safe plans for resuming work and production, and have repeatedly inquired about and assisted us in resolving various challenges.
The Economic and Trade Office of Langli Subdistrict proactively planned ahead and took decisive measures to assist our company in completing preparatory work prior to resuming operations, actively addressing challenges and issues related to the procurement of epidemic prevention supplies and the identification and elimination of potential hazards. Prior to the resumption of work, the office facilitated multi-party connections to establish a green channel for the purchase of epidemic control materials; amid nationwide shortages of masks, it secured more than 7,000 disposable medical masks for our company, significantly alleviating our shortage of such supplies. Following the resumption of operations, the Economic and Trade Office once again dispatched personnel to our premises to provide on-site guidance and outreach, helping us implement and enforce our epidemic prevention plan, establish records for disinfection and epidemic control, maintain personnel screening and temperature-monitoring logs, and put in place a comprehensive occupational safety management system.
Due to the impact of the epidemic, a large number of employees in key positions at our company were stranded in Hubei Province (with 316 employees on staff, 94 of whom are from Hubei), resulting in production capacity that could not meet delivery demands. After we reported our actual difficulties to Langli Subdistrict, the subdistrict leadership actively coordinated with the county epidemic prevention and control command center. Through official correspondence with the Honghu City Epidemic Prevention and Control Command Center in Hubei Province, 15 of our employees were ultimately able to return to Changsha ahead of schedule on February 21, 2020. As of the date of this report, the 15 employees who returned to Changsha from Hubei are staying in government-designated hotels under centralized quarantine and observation; they have now completed their isolation period and have gradually resumed work.
