Polyolefin units primarily include polypropylene plants and high-density polyethylene plants. Polypropylene plants mainly comprise ethylene stripping towers for isolation fluids, wash towers, and ethylene stripping towers, while high-density polyethylene plants mainly include hexane distillation columns, butene columns, hexane adsorption towers, 1-butene adsorption towers, ethylene oxygen-removal purification towers, ethylene carbon monoxide-removal purification towers, and ethylene water-and-carbon dioxide-removal purification towers. The principal internal components involved include metal packings, liquid distributors, liquid collectors, packing pressure grids, packing grid supports, tray assemblies (including floating valves, tray decks, downcomers, receiving trays, liquid seal trays, and their corresponding support beams), oil collection tanks, gas–liquid feed distributors and distribution pipes, as well as fasteners such as bolts, nuts, clamps, and washers.
